It is a hot day!

今天的天气好热啊！

Pete the cat goes to the beach with his mom and his brother,Bob.

妈妈带着皮特和哥哥鲍勃一起来到了海边。

"Let's go in the water,"Bob says.

“我们去水里玩吧！”鲍勃说。

"May be later,"says Pete.

“或许再等一会儿吧，”皮特说。

Bob likes to surf.

鲍勃喜欢冲浪。

He rides the big waves.

他冲了一个大浪。

It looks like fun.

看起来很好玩。

"I'm hot,"says Pete.

“我好热啊，”皮特说。

"Go in the water,"says Mom.

“去水里玩吧，”妈妈说。

"Maybe later,"says Pete.

“或许再等一会儿吧，”皮特说。

Pete makes a sand castle.

皮特做了一个沙滩城堡。

His mom helps him dig.

他妈妈也帮他一起挖。

Here comes a big wave.

一个大浪冲了过来。

And there goes Pete.

皮特吓得跑掉了。

Oh,no!

哦，不！

Where did his sand castle go?

他的沙堡去了哪里?

Bob rides a big wave.

鲍勃乘着一个大浪过来了。

"Wow!"says Pete.

“哇哦！”皮特惊叹道。

"That looks like fun."

“看起来好酷啊！”

Pete and his mom take a walk.

皮特和妈妈在海边散着步。

They find seashells.

他们捡到了一些贝壳。

They see a crab.

还看见一只螃蟹。

Pet's feet get wet.

皮特的脚被海水浸湿了。

His feet feel cool.

他觉得这样很凉爽。

The rest of him is hot.

身上其余部分是热的。

It is time for lunch.

午饭时间到了。

Pete eats a sandwich.

皮特吃了一个三明治。

He drink lemonade.

喝了一杯柠檬汁。

The sun is very hot.

正午的太阳很热。

And Pete is very,very hot.

皮特非常非常热。

Bob is wet and cool.

鲍勃浑身都是湿的很凉爽。

"Let's play ball,"says Pete.

“我们去玩球吧，”皮特说。

"No,thanks,"says Bob.

“不了，谢谢，”鲍勃说。

"I want to surf."

“我想去冲浪。”

Pete throws the ball.

皮特把球扔了出去。

His mom catches it.

妈妈抓住了它。

"Let's get our feet wet,"says Mom.

"我们一起去把脚弄湿吧，"妈妈说。

"Well,okay,"says Pete.

“好啊，”皮特说。

The water is cool.

海水冰冰凉的。

It feels good.

让皮特觉得很舒服。

Pete goes in deeper.

皮特往水深的地方走去。

Bob waves to Pete.

鲍勃冲着皮特挥挥手。

"I want to show you how to surf!"he yells.

“我想让你看看我是怎样冲浪的！”他大喊道。

Pete does not say "Maybe later."

这次皮特没有说“或许再等一会儿吧。”

He says,"Let's do it!"

他说，“好啊，咱们一起去吧！”

"Lie on the board,"says Bob.

“躺在冲浪板上，”鲍勃说。

Pete lies on the board.

皮特躺在冲浪板上。

"Paddle,"says Bob.

“桨,”鲍勃说。

Pete paddles out.

皮特用他的两只手充当船桨。

He waits for a big wave.

他在等待一个大海浪。

A big wave is coming!

一个大浪打了过来！

"Stand up!"says Bob.

“站起来！”鲍勃说。

Pete stands up.

皮特站了起来。

Then Pete falls down.

然后皮特摔倒了。

It was scary,but it did not hurt.

这真是太可怕了，但幸运的是皮特没有受伤。

"Try again later,"says Bob.

“一会儿再试一次，”鲍勃说。

Pete wants to try again now.

皮特想要再试一次。

Pete lies down again.

皮特再次躺在冲浪板上。

He paddles out and waits.

他双手划着桨等着。

Here comes a wave!

这时来了一个大浪！

Pete stands up.

皮特站了起来。

This time he rides the wave!

这次他勇敢的乘着浪！

"Good job,"says Bob.

“干得好，”鲍勃说。

Pete wants to surf all day.

皮特想一整天都冲浪。

Bob does,too.

鲍勃也是。

So they take turns.

所以，他们最后决定轮着来。

Pete and Bob rock and roll with the waves.

彼得和鲍勃愉快地冲着浪。

What a great day!

多么好玩的一天！

It is okay to be afraid.

害怕没关系。

But it is more fun to surf!

但是冲浪更有趣!
